A Maxima orange press is fast, easy to use, and offers many healthy drinks options! With its powerful motor, you can squeeze juice into many glasses effortlessly. Looking for a self-service press with a tap, or something smaller? No matter which you choose, you will always have a top quality machine. You can taste that down to the last drop.

Is an orange press suitable for my business?

Freshly squeezed juice is not only healthy, but also delicious! Fresh juice is the perfect fit for breakfast or lunch. Even outdoor cafes are increasingly adding fresh orange juice to their drinks menu. In sunny weather, it’s a refreshing thirst quencher, but it also make a perfect base for various cocktails all year round.

This makes an orange press a kitchen appliance that’s well suited to many different catering establishments. From restaurants and sandwich bars to cafes and beach clubs. It’s also useful in sports canteens, company canteens and even gyms. The automatic orange press is also increasingly seen in grocery shops and supermarkets. Customers can tap a glass or even bottle of orange juice themselves. That way, they know they have 100% fresh juice.

What different orange presses are there?

At Maxima, we divide the range of presses into two types:

  1. Electric orange press
  2. Automatic orange press

The main difference between the two is the operation. The electric orange presses with their practical sizes fit on any countertop and are operated manually. Depending on the model, you press an orange by holding it on the press heads with your hand or with a lever.

Despite their compact size, the powerful motor allows you to squeeze up to 32 litres of juice per hour! The spout of the most compact model fits a 12,5cm high glass. The other models have a height of 19cm. These XL models are available with a splashguard or with a handy lever to make pressing even easier.

The electric orange presses have the following features in common:

  • water resistant buttons
  • standard with 3 press heads
  • luxury aluminium design with black top
  • drip tray and removable filter for seeds and pulp
  • strong, but silent motor with a rotational speed of 1800RPM
  • removable filter, juice collection tray and spout (dishwasher safe)

An automatic orange press makes this task even easier and automatically squeezes juice from citrus fruit, all you have to do is add the oranges. On top of the machine is a basket with a convenient feeding system for oranges. The loading capacity of the upper basket starts at 8kg. Even the most compact tabletop model can press 20 to 25 oranges per minute.

Looking for even more capacity? The largest model stores 40kg of oranges and easily squeezes 45 oranges per minute! It even has an orange counter so you know how hard it has been working. The models with a drain tap are, of course, perfect for self-service orange juice.

TIP: You can also order a stainless steel trolley as an extra accessory. This allows you to easily move the press to and from the kitchen for cleaning. For the self-service appliances, you may want to consider a bottle rack so bottles are neatly arranged and easily accessible.

How do you clean an orange press?

Automatic orange presses allow you to see the inside of the machine through the transparent plexiglass cover. The rotating parts make the cutting and pressing fun to watch. It would be logical to assume that all these different parts are difficult to clean. Fortunately, this is not the case. The individual parts are easy to dismantle and can even be put in the dishwasher.

However, the bright colours of the machine parts will last longer if you wash them by hand. A number of models have an X-cross system that allows you to remove the entire press mechanism in one go. The sliding arm lets you clean any residue, and the waste container and juice filter are also easy to clean.

The housing and the front can simply be wiped down with a sponge, warm water and a mild detergent. Then dry everything with a soft cloth. To ensure good hygiene and product quality are maintained, we recommend cleaning the press at least once a day.

The electric orange presses have very few parts. The drip tray, filter and spout are made from plastic and can be put in the dishwasher. The aluminium base can be wiped down with a damp cloth and dried with a soft towel.
